2nd and 4th Mondays @ North Star Music Cafe

Argentine Tango at North Star Music Cafe , 225 Congress Street, Portland, Maine, every second and fourth Monday of the month.

Live music with Tango Mucha Labia (most nights) as well as traditional and alternative music.

7-8pm: Guided Practica

8-10pm: Milonga

The café serves delicious food until 9pm.

The fine art of having good time at milongas

Ney Melo is a fun person & a great dancer. He wrote The Do’s and Don’ts of Inviting and Accepting, an indepth article of getting it right at the Argentine milonga.
Lori Coyle, a teacher from Philly, PA, wrote also a very useful guide At Milonga, but hers is more applicable to the milongas outside Argentina.
