Workshops with Ney Melo Feb 12th in NH and Mar 17th and 18th in ME

Ney is one of the most sought-after younger teachers of the traditional Argentine tango. He has just returned from Europe, where he has taught workshops at festivals in Sweden and Turkey. Ney Melo will be in Portsmouth NH Feb 12th and Portland March 17/18 to teach workshops, DJ the 3/17/12 Milonga del Este and will also be available for private lessons!

WORKSHOP: Elegant, subtle, unhurried – this is the close-embrace style
of tango born in Villa Urquiza neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Ney
Melo’s workshop is for the intermediate to advanced dancers who would
like to refine their style.

PRACTI-LONGA: ambient studio, great acoustics. Old-world Sweets by
Elmira – pastries as they make them for the court of Tsar Nicholas.
Music is an equal mix of old & new, Argentine and non-Argentine tango
- some of the tunes you, probably, have never heard. Come and recharge
for a week ahead.

Location: Bhakti in Motion Yoga studio, 155 Brackett st, 3rd floor

Cost: 1 class: $20, 2 classes $35, all 4 classes: $65

Private lessons:

$90 per hour for singles or duets. Please pay Ney directly at your lesson.
