May 18th 2012: ($15) DJ and teacher Adriana Pinto. Mini-lesson before milonga: Turn to the left in milonga with the music!, DJ workshop with Adriana Saturday May 19th 10-11:30 ($15) and brunch for everyone 11:30 on (potluck)! More info to come.

All levels of dancers gleefully welcomed! – try out your new shoes, ask someone you’ve never danced with before, meet local teachers…bla bla bla.

Golden Age and Contemporary Tangos, Milongas and Valses with a few surprises thrown in! Birthday Valses, Chacareras (we’re getting better!), yummy refreshments provided along with alt-bev (non-alcoholic).

Please bring indoor shoes, observe line of dance, try out your cabaceo, and clear the floor and find a new partner on the cortina :)

Private Lessons: Anna Fleischer and Lauren Nunez from western Massachusetts will be in Thomaston and available for private lessons from Noon to 7pm. Wendy Ward’s Benefit Milonga

Argentine Tango Milonga Benefit Dance, Saturday, June 30 8pm-midnight, 10 Mayo St, Portland, ME.

$15 per dancer, mini lesson probable – stay tuned!

100% of proceeds will be donated to the Bob Harmon Trust Fund to assist with medical expenses. Bob recently suffered a massive, debilitating stroke at age 40.

Whether you dance or simply want to observe, all are invited and welcome. We have great music, great food, great dancing, and a great cause.
